THE ART PARTY
THE ASK:
The Art Party branding campaign was a pro bono project for public school 34 in Brooklyn, NY. They needed a logo created in 24 hrs and then a website and event campaign in the following three months.

THE PROCESS:
Chana was hired as a creative director for the project, directing school departments to produce student art as well as other local professional creatives to create various other elements like photography, web programming, and ad copy for marketing materials. The party was to be used to raise funds for the school’s long standing art program. Student art was used to highlight the art department at PS 34. and to involve the students in a real live design campaign. The children were directed to paint on printed photographs of their school and these panels were used as the splash page for the fundraiser’s website.

THE OUTCOME:
The project culminated in a student art show and a local auction, featuring items and art by local but internationally known artists. The event earned 40,000.00 securing the art departments inclusion into the curriculum of PS.34 for an additional 2 years.
